inform | Teacher Leave 

Teacher Sarah Mumford is currently on leave until early October. We are very happy to welcome back Teacher Jessica Buresi, who is familiar with our school and students, to fill in this role.  

inform | Lily, CMS's Therapy Dog 

For our families who are new to Meikle, you may not have known about Lily. Lily is a trained therapy, not service, dog. She has been certified by Companion Paws, which is why she is allowed in the school.  

Lily will attend school 1-2x per week with me. While she does visit with students, we do not visit with students who are fearful of her, and/or with students with allergies, and/or with students whose parents have requested no visits. Mostly, Lily is a regulator and comfort for our staff and for students who are able to visit with her in safe ways.
