Dear families and caregivers,

For those of you who trick or treated, I hope you had fun! And for those of you who did other things, I hope you had fun too! There's always so many different things kids and families do at CMS, it's hard to name them all. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

You've liked noticed on the last message that I included a message about not sending kids to school sick! Please, please do not send you child or student to school when they are unwell. We know it's hard, and we know it's lots for you to look after - but we too find it hard. We have had so many staff unwell, and continue to get unwell that we are short on staff most days. So, if your child seems like they aren't themselves, and nothing "normal" seems to work for them, maybe it's a possibility that they are sick and just need some time to be at home.

presentation | Easter Seals

This presentation is a very important presentation for any families in grades 9 or 10. By grade 11, you should be well on your way to getting your child's PDD and other assistance for when they turn 18.  All are welcome to this evening of information!

The Easter Seals Team will send someone from their Guardianship and Trusteeship team to support our school's learning on November 19th at 6:00pm. Our presentation will be approximately 30 mins, but may go over for if there are lots of questions!

We are going to offer it two ways, in-person or online. We will send out a link closer to the date.

Please support our fundraiser by sharing this with your company, family and friends. We can earn Christine Meikle a nice fund for graduation and other things that our council pays for!
